Stalin: Adolf, at last we meet...

Hitler: You!?

Stalin: I had offered you friendship, Adolf, but you chose to start a war. I am here to destroy you.

Hitler: Inferior Slav!
I am at the height of my Power!

A vector recolouring of this Russian comic - [link]

I did not do the drawing as such, merely Vector + Colour it.

Still took me ages though.

I remember that way back from Elfwood days. It reminded me of an "Indtruder" comic tangent, innocent blood, using a theme better realized by the "Red Star" comics. The modern world, but with technology alongside magic.

I thought this was the perfect image of it; Stalin would make a "Power Wizard" becoming by force of will and aggressive acquisition as powerful and efficient as possible. He'd probably trade off some of his humanity for it, perhaps even becoming partially steel like his name implies. His initial power would have been from copying notes from Lenin and then from taking "heritage Tzarist" magic.

Hitler, on the other hand, would end up dealing with something out of one of Lovecraft's stories. Outside, he'd be "Pure, Aryan" and all that, but inside he'd go places Al Alharazad never dared go. His "Final Solution" would be even more horrific, being a great 'human sacrifice' machine to feed his elder gods and use their bodies for zombie cannon fodder, after Mengele sewed them into things worthy of "Resident Evil".

Man, you have taken my thoughts on this and put them into words.

I wouldn't of been able to do that, I probably would have said something like "OKAY SO IT'S LIKE MODERN, BUT WITH MAGIC, WHAT IS UP WITH THAT"

Thanks for doing what I couldn't.

I love this. The portrayal of Stalin is much greater than in b/w. Your work is some of my favorite.
